Do you ever look at your closet and without even thinking, just start getting rid of stuff? It’s almost like something just turns on and you can’t stop the process. It feels really good, but simultaneously a little scary because a small voice in the back of your mind goes, “But what if you will wear that shirt one day?? Won’t you regret not having it?”.
Yet another part of you knows that you’re making room for something newer, something more aligned.
For the longest time my focus has been exclusively giving insights into recovery from narcissistic abuse. And I love doing that. I love helping people awaken to the truth of who they are, separate from the conditioning they took in from their narcissistic parent or other close relationship. My mission will always be about empowering the self to make decisions rooted in self-worth, not anxiety or doubt.
Yet something has been scratching at the back of my mind. A new desire. A kind of expansion, if you will. I want to share more with you. I want to go beyond what I initially set out to do, but in a way that’s still connected to my main message: Self-empowerment.
You see, most of the people I work with who are recovering from the impact of narcissistic abuse, also desire:
A deeper spiritual connection to Life Force Energy, Universe, Spirit, God…pick your word.
An expanded career, one that really makes their heart sing
Better communication with their partner(s)
Freedom from limiting beliefs that keep them paralyzed and stuck
Creativity that lights up their sense of play and connection to the world
A healthier relationship to their body, unlearning the damaging advice that diet culture has espoused
A clearer awareness of how their mind works so that they can see through its illusions and distortions
Resonant connections with others and the freedom to express their desires, feelings, and needs
Insight into how their shadow works, uncovering the parts of themselves that they have suppressed in order to fit in (and reclaiming and integrating them back)
More delight in their day to day
A way to actually regulate their nervous systems and use tools that work for their unique biology and physiology
And honestly? I want to help you all experience more of those things too. That’s why Already Good Enough is going to expand. But don’t worry - for those of you who have benefited from my writing about narcissistic abuse, that’s still going to be circulating here. I’m just widening the lens.
One thing I’ve done in the past (which is funny to me now, and if you’ve followed along, thanks for being part of that ride), is I tried to split myself up into too many different platforms. “Maybe I’ll do a platform just about nervous system regulation, and then I’ll do another one about anxiety!” Sounds nightmarish right?
My mind loves to play the game of “let’s make up rules about what’s ‘allowed’,” which I’m sure your mind has done a time or two also.
The thing is: I want to do it all right here. I want to keep talking about what I believe in and support you in your journey to knowing yourself more deeply, meeting your self with compassion, awe, encouragement, and respect. That’s the heart of it all and there are so many pathways we can take to get there.
So, let’s strap in and let the path unfold as it needs to. And, let this be an invitation for you to trust the path that you’re on too. We don’t always think we’re “on the path”…we think we have to find the path first and then start walking down it. That’s just backwards (but I get why we think this).
The truth is, the only place you can be is right now, making choices moment to moment. And it’s in those choices that either expand your path, or narrow it. But the good news is that the path will always respond to your aligned actions. The more you can trust yourself, the more you will see that you are always supported, whether that’s by your highest self, those around you, nature, Divine Intelligence, or intuition.
I’m so excited to keep building with you, diving deep into topics that resonate with the goal of becoming more connected to who we truly are: Alive, whole, worthy, Divine, and special.
With so much love to you!!
